Wow what a fantastic couple of days it has been for Team GB in Rio. We have seen medals in Judo from Sally Conway who won Bronze, 2 sets of Gold in Men's 4 rowing and Women's 4 rowing, Women's double sculling added a silver and Gold in the sprint cycling finals.
There was a bit of history made to, when Jack Laughter and Chris Mears won Team GB's first ever Olympic Gold in diving, seeing off stiff opposition from China and USA. There was also a Silver from the GB boys in the Rugby sevens, in it's first ever appearance at an Olympic games. They lost out to Fiji, who themselves made history with their nations first ever Olympic medal in any sport!
Gymnastic Max Whitlock also took Bronze in the men's indiviudal all round final, while Joe Clarke took a fantastic Gold in the Men's Kayak final, in his first ever Olympics!
We are only half way through, so plenty of more medals up for grabs with many stars including Jessica Ennis-Hill, Mo Farah and Greg Rutherford still to come!
