Kenny and Trott are once again the Golden couple! #Rio2016 #TeamGB

It was a memorable night for Team GB on the track, as Jason Kenny joined the elite group of athletes to have 6 Gold Olympic medals. In a nail biting mens keirin, with the race being restarted TWICE after the pacing bike was passed on both occasions. GB's Kenny looked to be in a spot of trouble after being one the racers that appeared to have crossed the pacer. All racers were allowed to race, and in classic Jason Kenny style, he took over the group with half a lap to win his 3rd Gold of the Olympics and 6th in his career. His partner Laura Trott sealed his place in Olympic folklore, when she won the women's omnium and her 4th Gold medal at the age of just 24! Katy Marchant also won her first medal, when she got the bronze in the women's sprint. It also guaranteed every GB cyclist went home with a medal in this Olympics.

There was another Gold for GB in the sailing, with Giles Scott continuing GB's dominance in Olympic sailing. Sophie Hitchen became the first woman to win a medal in the hammer throw in over 20 years. Lastly Nile Wilson won Bronze on the men's horizontal bar in a fantastic effort to round off a great gymnastics performance for Team GB this Olympics.
