What is Live Sport Talks all about? #LiveSportTalks

So for those who haven't attended a Live Sport Talks event, let us give you some more information about what Live Sport Talks is all about and why you should come along!

Live Sport Talks was founded by Charlie Rowe. Charlie is a passionate sports fan and has had several sport articles published online after qualifying as a sport journalist. He also worked in conferences, so decided to merge the 2 together and create Live Sport Talks. Live Sport Talks wants to give fans an opportunity to hear from Olympians and sport professionals in a live interview. The plan for the events are to go around the country as much as possible, with London and Manchester being the first 2 cities.

Our first event -

For our launch night event we welcomed 3 time Olympian and medalist swimmer Joanne Jackson as our guest in London. We discussed Joanne's fantastic career, including stories about her breaking a world record in 2009 and winning an Olympic Medal in Beijing.
Joanne also told us about her friendship with fellow Olympian swimmer Rebecca Adlington and how she was forced to retire after London 2012. There was then a chance for the audience to ask Joanne their questions, with young fans asking Joanne technical questions. You can watch this Q & A on our YouTube channel, the link is here

We are very excited to be coming up to Manchester to welcome Beth Tweddle as our next guest on Thursday 24th November. Beth, who is the most Britain's most successful female gymnast will be sharing her great stories from winning an Olympic medal to starting her own business 'Total Gymnastics' after retiring. This event is perfect for aspiring gymnasts, people who love the Olympics and also aspiring sport writers. The event will take place at the AJ Bell Stadium ( home of the Salford Red Devils!) with the talk kicking off at 7:30. You can book your tickets via www.livesporttalks.com!
