We love an inspiring story in sport, and there isn't many bigger than American Tennis player Sloane Stephens coming out of nowhere and winning the USA Open. Stephens, who was ranked 957 before the tournament, took the world of Tennis by storm with her rise throughout the tournament. It took just 61 minutes and a straight set win for Stephens, who saw off 15th seed Madison Keys in the final. The 2 finalists, who are good friends both have had a remarkable time in the tournament, with one of them about to become the first American player outside the Williams sisters to win the major in over 20 years!
A truly inspiring story, and we certainly haven't heard the last from Sloane Stephens!

EVENT UPDATE
Good evening all,
It is with big regret, that we have had to cancel the event with Elinor Barker MBE this month. Due to event logistics, we are unable to hold the event.
We have notified all ticket buyers and they have received a full refund. We would like to apologies to these ticket buyers for letting them down.
This decision wasn't taken lightly and we are working on our next event, so please stay tuned.

England win the women's Cricket World Cup!
The women'd Cricket team have certainly left their mark with some fantastic performances, and today they beat India in the final to win the women's world cup!
England ended with 228 and then took out India for 219 making a incredibly close affair but enough to get their hands on the trophy!
Coach Mark Robinson told BBC Radio
England coach Mark Robinson on Test Match Special: "I always knew it was a case of hanging in there. It ebbed and flowed. It's outstanding. It is a lot of hard work, toil and great work. These memories will live with everybody for a long time. It's captured the imagination of everybody as the tournament has gone on. Hopefully, the women's game will go from strength to strength."

Nadal storms to his 15th Grandslam and his 10th French Open victory! #LiveSportTalks
It was quite a remarkable performance from Rafael Nadal, after his saw off Stan Warinka in straight sets to win the French Open for his 15th Grandslam and his 10th French Open win!
Nadal, who lost to Federer in the Australian Open 5 months ago went into a flying start and wouldn't let Warinka into the game. He won the first set 6-2, the second set 6-3 and won the final most impressive set 6-1. Nadal has all but cemented himself as the greatest ever on the clay, and is also creeping towards Federer's 18 Grandslams.

England Under 20's are CHAMPIONS!
The future is certainly looking bright for England, after the under 20's capped off an impressive under World Cup with a 1 -0 win to be crowned champions! The team was littered with up and coming starts, from Lookman from Everton, Woodman from Newcastle and Solanke who recently signed for Liverpool. They saw off a technically very good Venezuela side, with a first half goal from Everton's Calvert-Lewin. England's goalkeeper Freddie Woodman was called into action around the 80th minute, when the South Americans won a penalty, which was well saved. It was all out attack from then on, however England managed to hold onto the win.
It is great experience for the young lions, and with a World Cup win under their belt they will be full of confidence going into the new seasons with their clubs!
